Déjà-vu Chair
When Naoto Fukasawa designed the Déjà-vu Chair, his goal was to create a design that could "entwine with people's actions and with the environment, too." The result was a retro yet contemporary chair so versatile that it fits in anywhere. Lots of choices let you create a dining or side chair that works beautifully with a Déjà-vu Oval Table or with any table of your choosing, in any environment. You can have the chair with a smart, ultra-modern polished aluminum frame with a polished aluminum, plastic, or wood outer back painted in black, white, oak veneer, or oak-stained wenge. Or you can have a painted aluminum outer back in black or white and have the legs and seat in black or white. Nicely sized, with a 15.7-inch-wide seat.
DÉJÀ-VU FAMILY
• The Dèjá-vu family began with the stool and was Magis's first venture into working with highly polished cast and extruded aluminum.
• Fukasawa's goal was to create a design that can "entwine with people's actions and with the environment, too."
• The stool in particular was the inspiration for Fukasawa's and Jasper Morrison's 2006 Super Normal Exhibition in Tokyo.
