The standard version tilt and push steps from Slingsby are a great addition to the workplace with a deep 400mm platform. The platform offers an excellent area for the user to work on, making it easier and more comfortable assisting in concentration. The punched metal treads are also wide at 559mm making ascending and descending the steps easy as well. The 950mm high handrails give more support to the user and the steps have a blue epoxy painted finish. There are three platform heights available; 760mm, 1020mm or 1270mm, enabling you to find the size that will best suit your company requirements. Ladder Safery Tips

• Set the ladder at the correct angle. Straight, single or extension ladders should be set up at about a 75-degree angle. There is usually a safety icon / graphic on the side of the ladder that shows the proper angle orientation between vertical and horizontal that you should use as a guide.
• Keep your body centered between the side rails of the ladder at all times.
• Make sure the weight your ladder is supporting does not exceed its maximum load rating (weight of the user plus materials).
• Only place one person on the ladder at one time.
• Use a ladder that is the proper length for the job. Proper length is a minimum of 3 feet extending over the roofline or working surface.
• Metal ladders will conduct electricity. Use a wooden or fiberglass ladder in the vicinity of power lines or electrical equipment.
• Be sure all locks on extension ladders are properly engaged.
• The ground under the ladder should be level and firm. Large flat wooden boards braced under the ladder can level a ladder on uneven ground or soft ground. A good practice is to have a helper hold the bottom of the ladder.
• Do not use a ladder within six metres of a live overhead power line.
