I have a problem with dampness in a few rooms of the house which has completely ruined a lot of my clothes. It's very expensive to get it dry lined so until I can afford to get it sorted I am going to have to go for another option. I've tried other more expensive plastic storage boxes with clip on lids and stored clothes and other items in them but it made absolutely no difference, the contents still got damp and had to be thrown out. These really useful storage boxes were recommended to me by a friend so I ordered this large 24 litre one to test it out. Once delivered a day a later put it to the test immediately. Threw some old clothes in, clipped on the lid and left it in the room. It's now been a month and I am delighted to say the clothes are in the same condition they were a month ago and with no damp smell. I'm so happy in fact that I've come on to order a few more! I intend to use the new ones to store old CD's and some lever arch files. The box I have already is incredibly strong, with other boxes I've had they've cracked almost immediately after I've filled them up but not with these really useful storage boxes. I filled it to it's capacity which at 24 litres is a lot, and it's held up really well with the lid clipping on securely. I know there are other colours available but I like these clear ones as I can see the contents inside easily. Extremely handy that they're stackable, especially for someone like me who has limited room it's good to know once I receive the new boxes I'll be able to stack them on top of each other. I recommend to anyone you're getting a fantastic storage box for such a reasonable price and half what you'd pay for other inferior ones.

The dimensions on the website say 270x465x290 mm

260x440x270 would be more accurate, unfortunately will not do for the task at hand. shame cause its a good box.
