Unique feature: adjustable lumbar support
WIND has an instantly recognizable X-shape transparent lumbar support uniquely designed to enhance the chair’s visual appeal and serve a very important function. Its height can be adjusted and it conforms to the user’s lumbar shape due to the elastic properties of silicone to provide exceptional comfort.

Minimalist and functional mesh design
The backrest with a flexible mesh easily adapts to the natural shape of the user’s spine. The aesthetic breathable mesh material ensures all-day comfort, no matter what seating position you use.

Innovative knitted mesh
Choose a backrest with a unique knitted mesh created by an Italian design studio Baldanzi & Novelli designers. The mesh design pattern follows the X shape to further enhance the lumbar support that creates the WIND chair’s identity. Varying degrees of mesh density provide additional back support and enhance comfort. The knitted mesh is made using cutting-edge technology which allows us to manufacture chairs with seamless backrest corners so no scrap material is left behind. A mesh fabric is individually knitted for each chair.

Visually striking upholstered backrest
The backrest is shaped with the principles of ergonomic seating in mind to ensure maximum workplace comfort. While the backrest frame and the silicone lumbar support are the same as those used in other WIND task chairs, its polyurethane insert with uniquely designed horizontal seams on both sides give a totally different character to the chair. The backrest comes in a variety of upholstery options. You can also choose the right colours to make your WIND task chair blend into your current interior space.
