CHAIR DRESSED FIRST
The Dressed First chair designed by Stefano Giovannoni takes inspiration from his earlier Chair First design. Here the form is created from welded steel rods covered with polyurethane foam that is then fitted entirely with fabric, making it a dramatic or demure addition to any interior, depending on the fabric color chosen.
FIRST FAMILY
• Chair First's name comes from it being the first example of a chair made using an advanced air molding process.
• Air molding begins with traditional injection molding, and then air is injected into the mold, which reduces material used and overall weight.
• This advanced technique is the first time that air is used throughout the entire volume of product.
• The Dressed First chair designed by Stefano Giovannoni takes inspiration from his earlier Chair First design as an upholstered version.
