I got this monitor riser for my home office and it's a joy to use. It really helps me avoid straining my neck when working for long periods of time and its so easy to adjust. It looks good too and is very sturdy so even my old heavy monitor sits on it with no problems.

I work in a call centre, we had a health and safety audit and it was recommended that we get these monitor risers to prevent neck strain. Luckily I had never experience neck strain however it is definitely more comfortable viewing the monitor on top of the riser as it is more at eye level and two of my colleagues who had neck strain says the monitor riser definitely helps. However one huge advantage for me was the storage area I now have underneath my monitor. I have a very small desk, in addition I have a laptop connected to a monitor and keyboard so I have absolutely no space on my desk. I would often be filing paperwork throughout the day so I need a stapler and puncher at hand so I can now put under the monitor along with my mobile phone. And charger.
