We worked very closely with Amazons project teams in both Ireland and Seattle to deliver a desired solution Office Fit Out Brief: Amazon's requirements were to build a suitable work environment for their expanding team to the very high corporate standard that they demand. Hunt Office Interiors scope for the Phase 1 was to strip out the complete ground floor area of an existing building in the Cork Airport Business Park which was divided into two units by a 42 metre block wall. Project Time Scale: Hunt Office Interiors agreed to a job completion plan of 10 weeks. We completed the job in 9 weeks – before schedule and under budget. Demolitions: Demolition of existing containment block wall, existing partitions and ceilings. Removal of existing plumbing and radiators. Decommissioning and removal of existing AC and HVAC units. Strip out of all exisisting electrical wiring and data cables and comms room. Strip out of raised access flooring. Fit out: Build new glazed partitions and stud walls. Build new suspended and MF ceilings. Install new raised access floors. Build new high security comms rooms. Install new ducting and AC indoor and outdoor units. Install all new electrical wiring and data cables and new security and access control systems. Install new AV systems. Build offices and breakout areas and install all new furniture including call centre desking, chairs and all new kitchen units and white goods in canteen. Painting throughout the building. New flooring including carpet tiles throughout and blinds. Commission site. |
